Kids Fishing Day

Every year the Green Bay chapter membership volunteers to instruct children on the proper way to bait, cast and remove fish from a fishing rod. We partner with Brown County Social Services PALS Program to enroll their members at the Izaak Walton League ponds. The kids have a fun-filled day of catching fish in the ponds that are stocked with Bluegill and Bass. The chapter not only provides all the fishing gear, but also dinner for the kids and their families. It's an enjoyable day for all!
